Lucky 7 for Scribe and Micromac

Scribe is celebrating its seventh year working with industrial filtration specialist, Micromac Filtration.

Environmental protection is a complex area and new legislation is placing increasing onus on companies’ ability to regulate their discharges to the environment. Over time Scribe has acquired a sound understanding of the market and this helps Micromac communicate effectively.

“Scribe has worked very well for us,” commented Richard Milton, managing director at Micromac Filtration. “We work in a number of markets from dairies and food processing through to sewage treatment and in each market we have a recognisable profile within the key publications. Bob is just another member of our team. He has integrated himself seamlessly within the company and he compliments our other staff perfectly,” he continued.

Think strategically, act decisively

The most significant impact that Scribe can have on a client’s media relations is when working in proactive mode. At Scribe, we seek pro-active and long-term relationships with key journalists. Whether you’re a correspondent on The Daily Telegraph, Paris Soir or Die Weld, you have the same need – concise factual information about an organisation that is quick and easy to access and easy to understand. It sounds simple – in fact it is a big challenge and one that many companies and organisations fail to achieve.

Scribe can help create bridges between the key media and key stakeholders within the organisation. These relationships are sound – they are based on trust and result in a truly proactive relationship between the journalist and the organisation. Only when these proactive relationships are established can effective communication channels be established. In this respect, continuity is critical. If Bob Charlton is your key contact, it is Bob that works with you and your team – day in, day out; month in, month out.

Working within a real world framework

Effective public relations is not rocket science. Through the practical implementation of key skills in pursuit of clearly defined objectives, it can make a significant positive impact on awareness and bottom line performance. The environment in which we prefer to work is illustrated below.
